Behind the Scenes of My Bookkeeping Branding Photoshoot

You know what screams “cool, calm, and financially collected”? A bookkeeping branding photoshoot. That’s right. While the rest of the world is out here snapping selfies with their newest loved latte or their Frenchie…I was out here striking poses with calculators and spreadsheets. Although, I might have missed out on not bringing our newest Frenchie along as well.

Well eat your heart out, Vogue.

But seriously—this wasn’t just about getting a few cute headshots. This was a full-blown, Excel-fueled photoshoot experience. So let me take you behind the scenes of my glamorous day in the life of a bookkeeper turned brand model.

Step 1: Pack the Props

Most people bring flowers or lattes to their shoots. Me? I brought:

·         Laptop (obviously) and my cell phone (in case any clients called of coarse!)

·         Three planners because the more the merrier

·         A stack of strategically messy papers

·         My favorite pen that only gets used when reconciling accounts like a boss

·         A fake cup of coffee with a b on it for both “Boss & Brittany”

Step 2: Posing with a Purpose

“Look approachable, but like you can also produce a flawless financial report in under 5 minutes.”

Have you ever tried to look friendly and financially competent while holding a stack of cash flow reports? It’s an art form.

There were classic poses like:

·         “Laptop open, smiling into the void”

·         “Thinking deeply about profit margins”

·         “Sassy side-eye with a spreadsheet”

·         And of course, “Yes, I do know what a chart of accounts is, thanks for asking.”

Step 3: The Vision

This wasn’t just about pretty pictures—it was about branding. I wanted my photos to scream:

• “I’m the numbers nerd you want in your inbox.”

• “No judgment if your receipts live in a shoebox.”

• “I can reconcile your accounts and still show off my sassy self.”

Final Thoughts: Bookkeeping, But Make It Fabulous

In a world of boring spreadsheets and stiff headshots, I’m here to shake things up.
Yes, I do reconciliations. Yes, I track expenses.
But I also make finances fun, accessible, and maybe just a little bit glamorous.
